The monsoon session of the Telangana Assembly is likely to be held for 20 days from September 7.
This was informed by Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy in an informal chat with media persons.
Reddy said that Business Advisory Committee (BAC) would decide on the exact number of days of the session. The session would see the passing of a few bills including a new revenue act, he said.
The session would also pass a resolution urging the Centre to accord the Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao, he added.
Seating arrangements were being made as per the Covid-19 norms, and eight more seats would be added in the Council hall, Reddy said.
As per the coronavirus protocols, wearing masks and thermal screening would be made mandatory, and sanitisers would be provided in the Assembly and the Council during the session, he added.
