Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday objected to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's comments that the TDP was working alongside the Congress party.
"The TDP will never work with the Congress," stated Naidu.
The TDP chief rubbished Jagan's allegations that the TDP was protecting the Congress, and that the 2 parties were acting hand in glove.
Moving on to the all-important Kadapa by-election results, Naidu said that the outcome of the by-elections proved that the liberal employment of money and muscle power does culminate in victory.
He said that the level of corruption in Kadapa could be gauged by the fact that the TDP convoys were attacked by Jagan's supporters despite the party being the major Opposition in the state.
He lamented that Andhra Pradesh, which was earlier synonymous with "development", is now synonymous with "corruption".
He demanded that Jagan come clean with the lakhs of crores of rupees that he has allegedly stashed away.
