TDP Telangana Unit Former President Kasani Joins BRS

The former president of the Telangana unit of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj, today joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao welcomed Kasani and other leaders into the party with pink scarves at his farmhouse in Erravalli village of Siddipet district.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that Kasani was a good friend of his, and that he (KCR) was wholeheartedly welcoming him into the BRS.

The CM also said that in the coming days, the BRS would provide many opportunities to the Mudiraj community leaders, and that they would be accommodated in posts including Rajya Sabha MPs, MLCs, Zilla Parishad chairmen, Mayors and others.

"Even though a leader like former minister Etala Rajender left the BRS, it makes me very happy that a bigger leader in Kasani Gnaneshwar, and a large number of people from the Mudiraj community have joined the BRS. I promise that there will be a better future for Kasani in the BRS," KCR said.

MLC Shambhipur Raju, MLA Vivekananda and others were also present.
