Telugu Desam Party leaders L Ramana and E Dayakar Rao today accused the ruling TRS of failing to keep its 2014 manifesto promises in its 18-month rule.
They also claimed that Hyderabad had developed primarily during the TDP rule with the help of the NDA government at the Centre.
Releasing a joint manifesto for the GHMC elections titled "Happy Hyderabad" along with the BJP at a program along with Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and BJP state president G Kishan Reddy, the TDP leaders alleged that the TRS was trying to misguide the people with false promises.
The ruling Party also had no understanding of governance, and its negligence had led to the non-completion of the Godavari and Krishna drinking water projects, and the delay in the Metro Rail works, they charged. Problems like traffic, water-logging on the roads etc. were also continuing forever, they alleged.
The people needed to vote for the TDP-BJP combine to witness progress, they claimed.
"With the Centre's help, we will develop the city to make it a clean, green and safe city without any law and order problem," they added.
