The Telugu Desam Party on Sunday accused YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of having a tactical understanding with the Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi parties.
Addressing a press conference here, TDP senior leaders Devineni Uma and Babu Rajendra Prasad said that Jagan did not speak a single word against TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao who was responsible for the division of Andhra Pradesh.
Also, he refrained from making strong statments against Congress president Sonia Gandhi, they added.
They demanded that Jagan explain as to why he maintained a silence in this regard, or whether he was being careful not to speak against Sonia Gandhi and KCR.
They asked Jagan whether he would join them in holding a protest at Sonia Gandhi's residence in New Delhi demanding that the Centre stop the bifurcation of state.
Describing "Samaikya Shankaravam" as "Samaikhya Dongala Sankaravam", the TDP leaders said that the YSRCP meeting was aimed at capatalising the sentiments of united Andhra Pradesh in Seemandhra region, to benefit the Congress party in next elections. (INN)
