CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana today slammed opposition leader K Chandrashekar Rao for not attending the Assembly sessions after being elected to the Assembly.
"KCR is copying Jayalalithaa, Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu, who had boycotted the Assembly sessions when they were in opposition in the past," he said.
He demanded that those who had won elections and did not attend the Assembly be expelled by the Election Commission.
Narayana was addressing a press conference at Maqdoom Bhavan in Hyderabad along with CPI national executive member Chada Venkat Reddy and national committee member Palla Venkat Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that KCR was not attending the Assembly as he was not able to digest the fact that his arch rival Revanth Reddy, who he (KCR) had expelled from the Assembly in the past, had now become the CM of the State.
Narayana said that the arrogance of KCR did not work, and its outcomes were now burning him.
"It is stunning for KCR to ask what will happen if some of the pillars in Kaleshwaram collapse. KCR should have also gone with the group of MLAs who went to Medigadda and should have apologised for his wrongs in the project. It is also not fair for the BRS leaders to curse Revanth Reddy and make provocative speeches just two months after he had taken over as Chief Minister. The CM too should not speak ill of them," he said.
Narayana also reacted to BRS leader Harish Rao's statement that Revanth Reddy should resign and hand over the government to him.
"The BRS leaders have lost their minds, and the desire to become the Chief Minister is immediately visible in Harish Rao's comments. Those comments are proof of his political depravity," he said.
Narayana also alleged that the BJP was an enemy of the Telugu people for not implementing for the last ten years the bifurcation promises made to the two Telugu States. He also said that Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu were traitors of the Telugu people bowing to the BJP.
He also alleged that Jagan had staged a murder drama before the elections in the name of Kodi Kathi, and added that Kodi Kathi Srinu, who was an accused in it, was kept in jail for five years. He asked why Jagan did not appear before the court to testify in the case for the last five years.
"Kodi Kathi Srinu, who came out recently, expressed apprehensions that he would be killed like Y S Vivekananda Reddy," he said.
