The Telugu Desam Party's leaders are likely to skip the swearing-in ceremony of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao as the first Chief Minister of Telangana.
The State government had sent invitations to TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders. However, the TDP leaders, especially those hailing from the Telangana region, have expressed unhappiness for not being invited by KCR himself.
"It would have been nice if KCR had invited us personally for his swearing in ceremony," said Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Similar feelings were expressed by another senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu.
However, the T-TDP leaders congratulated the people as the State of Telangana had now become a reality.
According to sources, former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and YSRCP President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy were also invited for KCR's swearing-in ceremony. (INN)
