Srinivas Yadav Exudes Confidence About TRS Win

Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today exuded confidence about the prospects of the ruling party in the MLC elections in the graduates' constituencies of Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam and Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy.

Highlighting the TRS' already-evident desire to clinch the Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy seat, he expressed his fervent hope that the party's candidate for the seat, Surabhi Vani Devi, secure a comfortable victory in the elections.

The minister then extended his thanks to the other leaders of the party for their "continuous campaigning", and said, "The leaders of the TRS have worked tirelessly to reach out to voters, and to mobilise support for our candidates. They have been devoted to helping us win the elections. I thank them for their work. Minister K T Rama Rao has been especially active. He has guided us by organising regular meetings, and has done much to encourage the party's rank and file to work hard to ensure a victory. I hope our efforts are rewarded."

Yadav also rebuked the parties of the Opposition for indulging in "misinformation campaigns" against the ruling party for "political mileage", and claimed that their "lies" had not in any way eroded the support base of the party.

"Though the Opposition has tried its best to malign us, in order to chip away at our support base, the people of the entire state know that we have always worked for their welfare, and will always support us, therefore. The programs and schemes implemented by us are proof of our commitment to our people, and their support for us became especially clear today - the elections saw a huge turnout. The graduate voters had all come out to vote for us. That is why I am confident that our candidates will bag the two MLC seats," he said.
