BJP Telangana president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today made controversial remarks during his campaign for the party candidate Raghunandan Rao in the Dubbaka Assembly constituency.
He urged the voters to take money from the TRS leaders and cast their vote for the BJP in the upcoming by-election for the constituency.
He said that the result witnessed in Karimnagar, Adilabad, Secunderabad and Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat elections would be repeated in Dubbaka, too.
He also targeted Siddipet Police Commissioner Joel Davis once again, saying that the attitude of the Commissioner towards him had caused pain to the souls of the police martyrs.
Bandi said that the campaign of the TRS in the constituency was based completely on disinformation and false propaganda.
For example, the TRS leaders were claiming that the union government would fix electric meters to the agriculture pumpsets of the farmers of the state, but it was the TRS that would fix the meters and not the BJP, and it was KCR who was planning to remove the free electricity connections of the farmers of the state, Bandi claimed.
He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had paid Rs 20,000 crore towards the power bills of the state's farmers, and not KCR.
The TRS leaders were also trying to mislead the people of Dubbaka saying that their pensions would be stopped if they voted for the BJP, and that that, too, was completely untrue, Bandi alleged.
The BJP leader said that his party would soon rebut the allegations of the TRS leaders about non-allocation of funds to the state, with facts and figures.
