Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders T Devender Goud, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and MLA Revanth Reddy on Wednesday stated that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has given priority to picking persons tainted with corruption as his cabinet colleagues.
Talking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan, the 3 leaders alleged that the ministers were picked by the Congress High Command. They added that the Chief Minister had no say in the size, nor in picking his cabinet colleagues.
They added that the High Command had dictated terms and Kiran Reddy had meekly accepted them.
The TDP leaders also stated that the Congress party had become a party of one caste, and this was evident by the fact that the members of Reddy caste dominated the cabinet.
The party had failed to follow social justice while giving berths in the cabinet to all communities, they alleged.
