Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday raided the Sub-Registrar's office and discovered unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs. 78,000, on the premises.
According to sources, the ACB sleuths also arrested Sub-Registrar K V Ramesh and 4 others.
A team of ACB sleuths led by DSP C Krishna raided the Sub-Registrar's office at Moosaram Bagh and discovered the unaccounted cash.
The team took K V Ramesh, his assistant Raju, and 3 others. The arrested persons are being interrogated, and the other 3 accused have been identified as Abdul Basith, Jibran and Ayub. (INN)
