Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Chairman Burra Venkatesham today said that all the necessary arrangements had been made to conduct the examination for filling up 783 Group 2 service posts in the State.
The Commission is conducting the examinations on Sunday and Monday using the OMR method. Over 5.51 lakh candidates are going to appear for the examinations in 1,368 centres across Telangana.
Venkatesham said that about 700 candidates were competing for each job.
He also said that the candidates needed to check the OMR sheet allotted to them carefully. He added that the biometrics were mandatory for every candidate, and that the examination for any candidate who wrote it without biometrics would be invalid.
Venkatesham also said that all the TGPSC members were going to visit New Delhi on December 18 and 19 as part of their study tour for the transparent conduct of the examinations in Telangana. He said that they would collect the guidelines at the UPSC on December 18, and on the following day meet the officials of the SSC Commission and the Chairman of the NTA.
