The 800-page report has listed down the pros and cons of forming a separate Telangana state instead of providing any concrete decision, and now, it is the onus of the central government to study the report and decide the fate of Andhra Pradesh.
The details of the report will not be revealed to public now. The future course of action will be decided in a meeting on 6th January in which the government will discuss the report with 8 recognised political parties of the country.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), led by K Chandrasekhar Rao, has given the government a time limit of 3 weeks to concede to their demand for Telangana.
TRS plans to intensify its agitation across the state till a new state is formed.
