Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu today extended immediate help to a young man critically injured in a road accident.
In an act of kindness, the minister personally intervened and reassured the victim, urging him not to panic, and ensured that the victim was swiftly shifted to a hospital for timely medical care.
The incident took place on Tuesday night near the Durgan Cheruvu cable bridge. The minister was returning from his official engagements. Upon noticing the injured youth lying on the roadside in a critical condition, Babu stopped his vehicle, stepped out, and comforted the victim. He quickly alerted the local police and took charge of the situation.
He arranged for the victim's transportation to NIMS in an auto-rickshaw, deputing a constable to accompany him. He also provided the victim with his personal assistant's phone number and assured the victim continued support.
Upon the victim's arrival at NIMS, Babu personally contacted the hospital's doctors to ensure that the best possible treatment was administered. He later followed up to check on the victim's condition and recovery.
The victim's family expressed gratitude to the minister for his timely intervention, empathy and humane gesture.
