CM Enables Accident Victim Get Artificial Legs

Intermediate student Gundeti Rahul met Revanth Reddy and updated him on his health and daily life after being fitted with artificial legs at NIMS.

Gundeti Rahul, an accident victim, had lost hope in life after both his legs were amputated after a tragic incident. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has rekindled hope in him for the future by providing comprehensive support.

A resident of Palakurthi village in Damera mandal of Warangal district, Rahul, an Intermediate student, was pushed off a train by miscreants while traveling to Rajasthan on November 2, 2024, resulting in the loss of his legs when another train then ran over him.

Upon learning about Rahul's plight, the Chief Minister ensured that he received medical treatment at NIMS and supported him in obtaining artificial legs worth Rs 10 lakh through the CM Relief Fund.

The government also provided assistance for his rehabilitation.

Rahul expressed his gratitude personally today to the CM. Accompanied by his family, Rahul met Reddy and updated him on his health and daily life after being fitted with artificial legs. He thanked Reddy profusely for the assistance extended which he said was enabling him to lead a normal life.
