BJP leader Dr. Subramanian Swamy on Thursday alleged that AICC President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi had furnished wrong information about their academic qualifications.
Speaking to media persons here, Swamy said that while Sonia mentioned her qualification as graduate, she had studied only up to 5th standard.
Similarly, Rahul Gandhi had mentioned his qualification as Masters in Philosophy (M. Phil.). However, he had failed in the M. Phil. exams, Swamy claimed.
Subramaniam Swamy said that two scams of the recent past have become more popular. They were the 2G scam of A Raja in Tamil Nadu and the land scam of Jamai Raja (Robert Vadra) in Himachal Pradesh.
He also alleged that Robert Vadra's land scam had broken all previous records of scams, and that the Nehru-Gandhi family was trying to swindle the properties worth Rs. 5,000 crores of National Herald.
He accused former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi of beginning the culture of organised corruption in India, and said that the Bofors scam during his regime was the first of its kind.
He appealed to the people to reject the Congress party to end corruption in the country. (INN)
