Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had deposited into the bank accounts of scamsters like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that his party would deposit money into the bank accounts of every poor person in the country if it came to power after the Lok Sabha elections.
Gandhi made these remarks at a public meeting held at Shamshabad.
He said that his government would catch Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya and recover the dues from them, and distribute the same to the poor people of the country. He said that the amount would be directly deposited into the bank accounts of every poor person of the country.
He also promised to waive off the loans of farmers within ten days of coming to power in the country.
Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Modi had divided the country into two pieces - one for his rich friends and the other for the country's poor people who were forced to struggle to repay the loans of the swindled banks.
Rahul also made sensational allegations against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao saying that the list of the corrupt activities of KCR was in the hands of Prime Minister Modi. He said that KCR had supported the demonetization move of Modi despite the fact that several lakhs of people in the country and the State had lost employment, and that the Telangana CM had also extended his total support to Modi on the GST issue, to avoid corruption investigations.
