T Subbirami Reddy Made Permanent CWC Invitee

Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi has assigned a key post to senior Congress leader, industrialist and Telugu film producer T Subbarami Reddy in the Congress Working Committee.

Reddy has been appointed as a permanent invitee of the committee.

Two other senior party leaders - Haryana Congress chief Kumari Selja and Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi - were included in the committee. And ex-UPCC head Ajay Kumar Lallu has been appointed as a special invitee.

Congress general secretary K C Venugopal today released a media statement to this effect.

Reddy is well-known in the two Telugu States, and has been part of the Congress for a long time. He was elected to the Lok Sabha twice, and had worked as a Union minister, too. He was also a member of the Rajya Sabha.
