TDP deputy floor leader Gali Muddukrishnamma Naidu on Monday said that the people of the Seemandhra region would "chase" away AICC president Sonia Gandhi "till Italy" if she tries to divide Telugus.
Speaking to media persons at the Assembly's media point, Gali alleged that Sonia Gandhi is doing injustice to Telugus by trying to divide them. He said that people of the Seemandhra region would be the worst hit due to the state's bifurcation.
He warned that the Congress president would not be spared by Telugu people for her acts, and that she would be "chased" out of the country.
Gali warned the Centre of dire consequences if the State Reorganisation Bill is passed without consensus. He said that massive protests would rock the streets and lanes of Delhi if the state is divided. He added that the TDP has been demanding that the Bill be returned to the Centre without any debate.
