The police on Monday forcibly shifted fasting Secondary Grade Teachers, who are on an indefinite hunger strike at Indira park demanding justice in appointments made under the District Selection Committee - 2008.
The police shifted them to the hospital as their health condition was deteriorating.
Raising slogans against what they called the indifferent attitude of the government and the police, the aspirants continued their hunger fast in the hospital.
Andhra Pradesh B-Ed Students Association president Uma Maheswara Reddy said that due to the Supreme Court's verdict towards the sharing of posts to B. Ed and D. Ed candidates in a 70:30 ratio, many bright B. Ed candidates had lost opportunities even though they had scored good marks in the DSC.
He urged the government to consider their issue favourably and issue posting orders to them.
