Senior Telangana Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir today demanded that the State government sack the officials concerned and the education minister for the goof-ups in the Intermediate examination results.
Shabbir Ali said that 12 students had allegedly ended their lives in the last few days across the State over their poor or wrong results in the examinations, and that the inefficient handling of the Intermediate examination evaluation and results by the Telangana government was solely responsible for this spate of suicides.
Scores of students were wasting their lives due to the mishandling of the SSC, Intermediate and TPSC competitive exams held by the TRS government over last few months, he added.
The Congress leader demanded that the Chief Minister take stern action on the officials of the Intermediate Board concerned and also sack the education minister for lack of effective supervision and guidance to the officials. He said that the Congress was fully sympathetic towards the bereaved parents, and was offering its full support to them to fight the KCR government.
