Speaking at the Board office, the Opposition leaders demanded that the government take stern action against the responsible officials of the Board. They also demanded that the State government take action against Globarena, the company that handled the evaluation and results and is the prime accused in the controversy.
Meanwhile, other Congress party leaders addressed a letter to Telangana State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy urging him to issue directions to the police to release all the Congress leaders, including MPTC and ZPTC candidates, who had been kept under house arrest. They complained to the SEC that the Congress leaders were arrested with an intention to prevent them from taking part in the dharna program called for by the party to lay siege to the BIE office.
