"Centre Won't Interfere In Sabitha's Case"
Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde says that the Congress High Command won't interfere in the CBI case against the tainted ministers in the AP state Cabinet.
Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, on Wednesday, made it clear that the Congress High Command would not interfere with the issue of the tainted ministers of the state Cabinet in Andhra Pradesh.
"The Centre will not interfere in the state issues," was Shinde's reply when reporters asked him about the possible action against Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy, who has been named as an accused (and an accomplice) by the CBI in the Disproportionate Assets case against YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Shinde said that Sabitha's issue was in the purview of the state, and that therefore, the Centre will not interfere with it.
The Union Home Minister also reiterated that the Centre had taken the Telangana issue into active consideration. (INN)
