Telangana TDP official spokesperson Satish Madiga today accused the TRS government of neglecting the welfare of SCs and STs.

Speaking to the media, Madiga said that they would launch an agitation against the Telangana government's negligence of the plight of dalits. He recalled that the State government had promised to allocate Rs. 10,000 crores every year in the budget for the welfare of girijans and dalits. As per the vow, the government should have spent Rs. 30,000 crores since the Party came to power, he said.

But not even Rs. 10,000 crores were spent during the last three years for the upliftment of girijans in the State, he said adding that the TRS government also failed to fulfil its promise of allotting three acres to each dalit family.

Satish Madiga said the the TDP would launch an agitation in May.
