Christian Associations Federation convener Jerusalem Matthaiah, who is accused number 4 in Revanth Reddy's note-for-vote case and is on the run from the Telangana police, on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Sathyanarayanapuram Police Station in Vijayawada of AP, alleging that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had taken a bribe of Rs. 1 crore from nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson.
The police filed cases under IPC sections 506, 507 and 387.
Matthaiah alleged in his complaint that he faced a threat to his life from the Telangana police, and that the police had shifted his brother to Hyderabad and had beaten him badly.
He also alleged that the police had detained his wife and children illegally, and that the Telangana police were pressurizing him over the phone to name Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the case. (NSS)
