Continuing his tirade against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Telangana Telugu Desam Party MLA A Revanth Reddy, who is the principal accused in the infamous "note-for-vote" scam that rattled the politics of the two Telugu States and fuelled rivalry between their Chief Ministers, today reiterated that KCR had deceived the people of Telangana by not implementing his manifesto promises.
Speaking on the last day of the three-day TDP Mahanadu (the Party's foundation day celebrations) at Tirupati on Sunday, Reddy accused KCR of indulging in duping the people.
Perhaps to get marks from his boss and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Reddy launched a scathing attack on KCR as expected.
"The TRS government failed to keep its promises and ignored offering jobs to the kin of the martyrs," he alleged.
Introducing a resolution "TRS Government - Failure In Manifesto Promises" in the event, Reddy said that the Telangana people had believed in KCR and made him the Chief Minister, but he had failed to keep his promises, and no development had taken place so far despite a whopping Rs 2.5 lakh crores heing spent.
