The Telangana High Court on Friday admitted a petition filed by Congress MP A Revanth Reddy seeking increased security cover for him.
In his petition he made the state and union home ministries, and industrialist J Rameswara Rao, as parties.
He told the HC that he was being provided with 2+2 security now, and that he needed a 4+4 security cover with escort facility as he was facing a threat from TRS leaders.
He also told the HC that he had political and personal enmity with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and that he had filed several public interest litigations on controversial issues involving the ruling party leaders, including Gulabi cooli, demolition of the state secretariat and land allotment to the industrialist Rameswara Rao.
He alleged that the KCR-led government had developed a grudge against him, and that the CM himself had said in the state assembly that he would end Reddy's life by carrying out an operation like Blue Star.
