Republic Day: SCR Beefs Up Security In View

The South Central Railway has beefed up security measures in view of ensuing Republic Day-2014.

All the 6 divisions of SCR have been alerted and field staff have been instructed to carry out security measures including organising anti-sabotage checks at the vulnerable locations; to organize random checks in co-ordination with government railway police and Local Police in stations, running trains and vulnerable areas; to organize checking of explosive by explosive detectors at the stations premises; to prevent entry of unauthorized persons into railway premises and to make security arrangements at vital installations in co-ordination with government railway police and local police.
