CPM politburo member B V Raghavulu today said his party was planning to contest from 15 to 20 constituencies in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.
Speaking at a program organised at TS UTF office in Domalguda, the CPM leader said that his party was working to defeat the Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming elections, and was ready to work with the BRS if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao extended his support to the CPM.
Raghavulu denied reports that the gap between the BRS and the CPM had widened after the conclusion of the Munugodu by-election. He however also said that his party had not held any discussions with the BRS about seat-sharing for the upcoming Assembly elections.
