Union labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Union home minister had promised to resolve the issue without any further delay.
Hyderabad | 11th August 2015
Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya stated that the BJP government was committed to the bifurcation of the Hyderabad High Court.

Along with Telangana JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram and Telangana Advocates JAC members, Dattatreya called on Union home minister Rajnath Singh at Delhi and apprised him of the agitation for the immediate bifurcation of the High Court.

Speaking to reporters later, Dattatreya said that Singh had promised to resolve the issue without any further delay.

Singh had said that he would ask Union law minister Sadananda Gowda to speed up the bifurcation process, Dattatreya said.

Dattatreya maintained that the Centre was in favour of the bifurcation, and had initiated steps for the purpose.

"I have been asking the Centre for a speedy process, and a final call is awaited," he asserted.
