SC Rejects Petition Against TSCHE Assets Bifurcation

The Supreme Court declined the Telangana government's review petition against the High Court order to share TSCHE assets with Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad | 11th August 2016
The Supreme Court today declined the Telangana government's review petition against the Hyderabad High Court order to share the Telangana State Council Of Higher Education's assets and bank accounts with Andhra Pradesh in the ratio of 58:42.

The Telangana government had moved the Supreme Court on April 18th seeking a review of the order.

Dissatisfied by its content, the apex court overruled the petition and asked the State government to bifurcate the institutions only as per the 10th schedule as already directed by the High Court.
