Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday sanctioned of 2 more sub-missions for the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu program.
While one mission will address minorities, the other will cater to Greater Hyderabad city.
It may be recalled that 5 sub-missions are already working to provide 15 lakh jobs to youth in the next 3 years.
According to a CMO release, the vision of Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu is to convert a large number of non-literate, school drop-out, unskilled & unemployed youth into productive workforce by building their skills, thereby promoting inclusive growth. The goal is 15 lakh jobs to youth by 2014-15.
The Andhra Pradesh Rajiv Education and Employment Mission (REEMAP) functions through 7 sub-missions for the following: rural employment, rural youth from SHG, urban slums, youth of urban slum-based SHGs, youth of urban areas & ITI (pass/fail) & unemployed, placements for polytechnic (pass/fail), the differently-abled, minorities and one for Hyderabad city.
