Describing Satya Sai Baba's response to medical treatment as slow, the Director of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Medical Sciences, A N Safaya, on Tuesday stated that Baba's condition was critical.
"Sri Satya Sai Baba continues to be stable as far as his vital parameters of health are concerned, but he is undergoing intermittent hemodialysis, and is on assisted respiration. Although he is responding to the treatment, his response is slow. His condition still continues to be critical," Dr. Safaya stated in the Tuesday evening medical bulletin.
The spiritual leader was admitted to the hospital on March 28th. The medical bulletins, released twice a day, have consistently said that Satya Sai Baba was showing improvement. (INN)
