Doctors at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Medical Sciences on Thursday said that Satya Sai Baba's health condition is critical yet stable, and that he is responding to medication now.
The health bulletin issued by the SSSIHMS Director A N Safaya said that the health of the spiritual leader is the same as it was on Wednesday evening.
"Sri Satya Sai Baba's vital parameters are near normal. These include functional indices of the heart rate, blood pressure, blood biochemistry values and blood gas saturation values," Dr. Safaya said in the bulletin.
"Sai Baba continues to be on the ventilator to assist his lungs," he added.
The bulletin added that the dialysis process has been reduced further, and that Satya Sai Baba's level of consciousness is continually showing improvement. (INN)
