President Inaugurates New HQs of Ramachandra Mission
President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday inaugurated the new global headquarters, Kanha Shanti Vanam, of the Ramachandra Mission, in Ranga Reddy district.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday inaugurated the new global headquarters, Kanha Shanti Vanam, of the Ramachandra Mission, in Kanha village under Nandigama mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
Guruji Kamalesh Patel welcomed the country's first couple, who arrived in the city on Saturday to inaugurate the place, touted to be Asia's biggest meditation centre.
The President later addressed the gathering, mostly people who are teachers of meditation, and said that he was happy to be in the serene place, covered in lush greenery.
Stating that India had a great culture that wished for peace, happiness and harmony in the entire world, Kovind said that the Ramachandra Mission was greatly helping towards that with units in 150 nations serving people through spiritual and meditation programs.
He added that in a world full of anxieties, uncertainties, insecurities and hostilities, the responsibilities of organizations like the Ramachandra Mission had increased manifold.
"In order to change the direction of humanity, we need to take on board larger numbers of young persons and engage them in the work of building a better world. I am confident that the global community of the Ramachandra Mission will contribute towards making the planet a better place to live in and transforming humanity into a better community, full of positive energy and happiness," he said.
The Governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundararajan, also participated in the event.
