Chief Secretary S K Joshi today instructed officials to make foolproof arrangements for the winter visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to Hyderabad.
At a review meeting, the Chief Secretary said that the President would be arriving in the city as part of his annual southern sojourn on December 20, and would be staying here till Dec 28 with trips to other places in the South in between.
The President will reach the Hakimpet airport at 1 pm, and travel to Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bollarum in Secunderabad and stay there till December 22.
On December 23 the President will leave for Thiruvanathapuram, and return on December 26. Kovind will host "At Home" at Rashtrapathi Nilayam on December 27 for State dignitaries. He will then leave for New Delhi on December 28.
Joshi directed the officials concerned to make coordinated efforts to provide all the necessary security arrangements and facilities at Rashtrapathi Nilayam for the President's visit.
