President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the World Telugu Conference (WTC) valedictory event at Lal Bahadur Stadium on the evening of December 19.
The President will land at the Begumpet airport at 2:55 pm. Governor E S L Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, cabinet ministers and officials will welcome the President at the airport on his arrival.
From the airport the President will move to Raj Bhavan and will stay there for a short while. He will then attend and address the WTC concluding program at the L B Stadium.
He will thereafter move to Raj Bhavan and will stay there for night.
On Wednesday, the President will attend a program at the Tank Bund and will pay tributes at the Lord Buddha statue in Hussain Sagar at 10:30 am, and then leave for the national capital.
The state government has made elaborate security arrangements for the President's visit to the city, and traffic at many places will be diverted.
