Ponnam Slams Uttam Kumar Reddy On Huzurabad By-Election
The former Congress MP made some sensational remarks against the MP and former TPCC president during a review meeting of the TPCC over the Huzurabad defeat.
Former MP and Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar today slammed sitting MP of the party and former TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
He alleged that the MP had worked behind the scenes to get an MLC post for his cousin and former party leader P Kaushik Reddy, through the TRS.
He made these sensational remarks during a review meeting of the TPCC over the humiliating defeat of the party in the recent by-election in Huzurabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Ponnam also said that a lack of proper coordination between the party leaders was the main reason behind the defeat of the party.
He also alleged that two former PCC presidents, D Srinivas and K Keshava Rao, had cheated the party to become Rajya Sabha MPs of the ruling TRS.
He told the party leadership that the party would face a humiliating defeat in the next Assembly elections too if the trend of cheating by the party leaders continued.
When some party leaders attempted to stop him from continuing with his tirade, he dared the leadership to suspend him from the party.
He also said that it would be meaningless to blame him for the defeat of the party in the by-election.
