AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Thursday condemned Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for calling Congress leaders 'wild boars'.
Stating that such words do not comform to the stature of a person who served as Chief Minister for almost nine years, he mocked that Naidu's recent statements indicated that he was losing his mental balance. He said that the state government should offer treatment to Naidu by hiring specialists, adding that the TDP chief's frustration for being out of power has reached its height.
Sudhakar Reddy said that a person who came to power by backstabbing his own father-in-law NT Rama Rao could never be friendly to people. He alleged that Naidu has been using dirty tricks to restore his lost ground in the state.
Speaking about Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the AICC Secretary said that the party lacks a clear agenda and was being run at the whims and fancies of its president K Chandrasekhar Rao. Claiming that the TRS got its political identity due to the Congress party, he ridiculed KCR's threat of wiping out the Congress from the Telangana region. He said that only Congress party could give Telangana statehood, and that no regional party enjoyed the clout clout necessary for the same.
Sudhakar Reddy also advised the youth from the Telangana region not to take any extreme steps. He said that the youth should not get misled by the statements being made by some leaders including KCR. (INN)
