Salauddin Ayub Khan, director of Parkwood International School at Manneguda in Vikarabad, who was arrested by the police on charges of repeatedly raping a student of his school, was on Friday brought to the Osmania General Hospital for forensic tests.
According to reports, the accused was made to give his DNA samples, but this is not confirmed. What is confirmed, though, is that he was brought to the hospital from the Central Crime Station.
Salauddin Ayub is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, who hailed from Mumbai, repeatedly over the last year. He is also believed to have impregnated her, and then to have forced her to take some tablets so that the baby could be aborted.
The nauseating case had come to light late on Wednesday after the girl had gathered courage to inform her parents about her torment by the principal. Her parents lodged a complaint with the police, after which the director was questioned.
He was formally arrested on Thursday, and a revolver and some incriminating photographs were seized from the penthouse of the school he was living in.
