The relatives of Chandrasekhar Vallabhaneni and his wife Anupama called on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and submitted a representation requesting him to help the family to get them released from the remand of Norway police.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister has already directed Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew on Friday itself to pursue the matter with the Government of India. Accordingly, the Chief Secretary already wrote a letter and contacted the officials in the Ministry of External Affairs in this regard.
Again, the Chief Minster assured them that the state government will take all positive steps to help get Chandrasekhar and his wife released. The delegation of the relatives included Anupama's father Veerabhadra Rao, brothers Venu, Bhargav, Krishna and others. (INN)
