Senior IAS Officials Samuel and I Y R Krishna Rao today met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his chambers.

The two officials, who called on the Chief Minister separately, are understood to have pleaded their respective cases for the post of Chief Secretary.

The incumbent, Minnie Mathews, will be retiring on April 30.

Meanwhile, there are reports that P K Mohanthy is set to be the next Chief Secretary. (INN)
