Probe CM's Corruption: Shankar Rao

Former minister Dr. P Shankar Rao, on Thursday, re-iterated the demand for a probe into the allegations of corruption against Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Speaking to media personnel, Shankar Rao said that so far, he has written three letters to Governor E S L Narasimhan seeking a probe against Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Shankar Rao alleged that Kiran was also involved in red sanders smuggling, and that the latter will be surely sent to jail if a probe is ordered.

Shankar Rao also casted aspersions on Kiran Kumar Reddy's mental stability, and called him "pagal" (mad). Shankar Rao went on to say that there would be no takers for Kiran's new political party. (INN)
