Harrassment Petition Against Shankar Rao Adjourned
The state High Court adjourns hearing on p Shankar Rao's daughter-in-law's petition against the former, accusing him and his family members of having harrased her.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court, on Wednesday, adjourned the hearing on a written petition filed by former minister and Secunderabad Cantonment legislator P Shankar Rao's daughter-in-law Vamsi Priya seeking action against her husband Shashank, father-in-law Shankar Rao, mother-in-law Vishwa Shanti and sister-in-law Sushmita, for having allegedly harassed her.
The court adjourned the hearing of the petition for 10 days.
In her application, Vamsi Priya charged Shankar Rao and family members with harassing her and treating her in an inhuman way. She also accused the police of being unsympathetic towards her and of being inactive in their investigations inot the case..
Priya urged the court to direct the police to arrest Shankar Rao and his family members immediately. (INN)
