Rythu Bharosa Deposited For Up To 7 Acres: Thummala
In five days, a total of Rs 7,310.59 crore had been transferred, reaching approximately 65.12 lakh farmers, the Telangana agriculture minister said.

Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao today announced that, in line with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's commitment to disburse full support funds for the rainy season within nine days, Rythu Bharosa payments had now been distributed for the fifth consecutive day, covering farmers who had upto 7 acres.
An additional Rs 905.89 crore were disbursed on the fifth day under the scheme, benefiting 2.64 lakh farmers, he said.

The minister also promised that the Rythu Bharosa assistance would be extended to all remaining farmers, regardless of the extent of land they cultivated.
Under Rythu Bharosa, the government gives Rs 6,000 per acre to farmers as investment support, twice a year. CM Revanth Reddy had promised a few days back that Rs 9,000 crore would be released in 9 days under the scheme.
