In the intervening night of October 6 and 7, the Commissioner's Task Force personnel conducted surprise checks on pubs running under the Jubilee Hills police station limits and registered six cases against their owners.
The police said that as per the guidelines, the pubs could operate only till midnight from Monday to Thursday and until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays, but the managements of the above pubs were running them beyond the time limits and creating nuisances in the area. Hence cases were booked against the owners and the latter were handed over to the SHO, Jubilee Hills.
