39 Held For Drunk Driving In Hyderabad on Saturday

As many as 329 persons were chargesheeted from November 27 to December 1 for drunk driving in Hyderabad, and 39 arrested.

As many as 39 people were sentenced to imprisonment by the III and IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Erramanzil, on Saturday on charges of drunk driving.

All those arrested were sent to the Chanchalguda Jail. They were also all asked to pay fines, cumulatively amounting to Rs 7,09,100.

The Magistrate also ordered permanent cancellation of the driving licence of one offender, and suspended the licences of three others.

The police informed the media that as many as 329 persons had been chargesheeted from November 27 to December 1 for drunk driving.
