Former MLA and BJP leader N V S S Prabhakar today alleged that only the corrupt leaders of the State seemed to have an entry into the camp office of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Pragathi Bhavan.
He also alleged that the CM would never meet ordinary people there.
Speaking to the media at the BJP State party office at Nampally, Prabhakar said that Pragathi Bhavan was meant for holding official programs and reviews of the State government, and alleged that the camp office was instead being used by the CM to hold review meetings on protecting those who had received notices from the CBI to appear before them,
clearly referring to the daughter of the CM and TRS MLC K Kavitha.
He alleged that Pragathi Bhavan had become a hub for those who had committed mistakes and crimes, and those who were involved in scams. He claimed that those who received notices from the ED and the CBI were holding discussions at the camp office, and that those who were facing criminal charges in drug and illegal casino cases also had easy access to it. He also claimed that the four TRS MLAs involved in the sensational MLA poachgate scam had stayed at Pragathi Bhavan for over 20 days.
In addition, no official review on various public problems and implementation of various schemes were being held at Pragathi Bhavan, Prabhakar lamented, and reiterated that the CM was meeting the corrupt while ignoring the ordinary people of the State.
Prabhakar also launched an indirect attack on Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, alleging that the minister was dominating the entire State by intervening into issues not related to his ministries.
