Everything is set for the inauguration of the 81st All-India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally on the evening of February 25.
According to the Exhibition Society authorities, the exhibition will remain open for 46 days from 4 pm to 10:30 pm, and on holidays till 11 pm.
They said that some 1,600 shops would be opened, set up by traders from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Visitors will be allowed in only after complying with all formalities like wearing masks, sanitising their hands and thermal screening.
Amusement parks have been set up for entertainment. Music programs will also be organized every day.
For the uninitiated, the exhibition was suspended after it was inaugurated by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on January 1, following instructions from the Hyderabad police amid fears of Omicron. Numaish begins on January 1 and goes on till February 15 every year.
