Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today inaugurated the 76th All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) at Nampally amid enthusiasm and gusto.
KCR lit a lamp to mark the inaugural of the exhibition, which will be open for 45 days. Finance Minister and Exhibition Society President Etela Rajender, Commercial Taxes Minister T Srinivas Yadav and others were present.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the organisers and wished the exhibition a great success. The government would extend all possible support to the Society to develop it further, KCR vowed. He added that the government would encourage businessmen small and big to flourish in Telangana.
It is significant that the State government offered the exhibition land to the society as its lease period of 99 years was over.
About 2,600 stalls featuring different products are open currently. Elaborate security arrangements have been made, and free parking has been offered to vehicle users.
The Finance Minister also said that the government was ready to offer all possible cooperation to the Exhibition Society. To ease of traffic problem vehicles were exempted from paying parking fee, he said.
The Numaish will continue till February 15. This year the main feature of the Numaish is free Wi-Fi connectivity and free parking.
